tattoo schmoo

not sure which is more bewildering
that people think tattoos are unchanging permenants
or that it sources from an active rebellion against cultural norms
messages say unresolved for so long
modern tattoos and ooold school tattoos are completely different
and the watered down fringe accessibility
causes the same casual disregard as that of any cultural vein
ease of access belies gravity
and the gravity to which other people could be affected

i just decided to do them
another medium and an interesting one at that
doubt i'd ever have the time to really explore it
so mine is a story of a time when modern primatives were new and people cared to take care of its per/con/cept/ions

but without getting into that yet
my affected area has to be somewhat consciously covered
and i do because this isn't about anyone else or anything but its fully weighed intentions
people who find the need to cover their faces with Australian aboriginal tattoos or whatnot
is either akin to being purposefully unwashed, or in some way obviously avoiding casual human contact or daring a challenge to some
sometimes both
i find being inaccessible extremely protective as a defense
i rarely get hassled done up
nearly as much as being in a schlumpy sweater

once again, an actual generation gap with a new generation
who grew up on tv
tweens use to mean us
the intergenerationals
parts some things
no one thing

even more confusing are people reactions to people's bodies to such a degree
i know the holes they live in
i'm not sure how they choose to stay
