those precious euphoric moments just before your lungs are fully water logged

where's the hoopla?

i've been having a problem with this all day.
i think i've been aware of her ever since being online regularly, but of all the things that she was a part of, were a part of her, or that happened to her, i thought of them separately. i didn't think of them as being elements of a single life so much as parts of the fabric of the web. i didn't know her well, personally, or often, but she always seemed to be there in some form or connection--
--so it seems really weird that the web goes on like nothing has happened, that it doesn't all just stop for a minute to note and record the fact that something is different now.
i never bothered too much too keep up or check in as it seemed like something that would always be there, had always been there, but now, after, what, twelve years years--
i hope someone maintains her work online, and i hope someone with talent, tact and style does the definitive write up, because, frankly, it wouldn't be the web without her.
